| Question: | How to launch docx file by using Word 2003 in Curtain environment?

| Answer: | If users can use non-Protected Word 2003 to open docx files, users can also use Protected Word 2003 to open docx files in Curtain environment. There is no configuration required in Curtain e-locker.
Steps for supporting docx in Word 2003:
1. Download and install MS Office Compatibility Pack (i.e. FileFormatConverters.exe). Please download approariate pack from related website.
2. After the installation, users have to use non-Protected Word 2003 to launch non-Protected docx document once. After that, users can use Protected Word 2003 to launch Protected docx files in Curtain environment.
P.S. For supporting xlsx or other MS Office versions, you could use similar steps.
