Question:

How to launch a Protected application?

 
 
Answer:There are several ways to launch a cProtected application:
(Method 1) Launch Protected application in Curtain Client
(Method 2) Launch Protected application in Windows taskbar
(Method 3) Use Secure Shortcut for particular application (FAQ 00216)

Method 1 - Launch Protected application in the menu:
1. In Curtain e-locker Client, select "Application" on the menu bar. The updated menu now provides enhanced navigation options to help you quickly find and launch applications:
  • Opened history: Displays a list of recently launched protected applications (e.g., Windows Explorer, Windows Media Player ...).
  • Favorites: Allows quick access to your pinned/frequently used applications.
  • Classification:
    • By company: Groups applications by software vendor/company.
    • By type: Groups applications by software category.
    • By application: Lists applications alphabetically from A to Z.

2. Select the corresponding letter (e.g., "D >") and click the target application to launch.



Method 2 - Launch Protected application in Windows taskbar:
1. In Windows taskbar, point to Curtain icon and right-click to select "Application". It shows a list of applications.

2. Select an application to launch.
