Answer:Client License Terms for Terminal Server/Remote Desktop Environments

1. General Client Licensing
  • Each individual workstation or device with the software installed requires a valid client license.

2. Terminal Server/RDS/Citrix/Virtual Desktop Environments
  • If the software is installed on a terminal server (e.g., Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, Citrix Virtual Apps, or similar shared hosting environments), a separate Client License is required for each unique device that utilizes the software, regardless of whether they access it simultaneously or at different times.
  • Licensing is based on the maximum number of devices with access to the software, not just concurrent connections.

3. Restrictions
  • Virtual desktop environments (VDI) follow the same licensing model—each virtual machine accessing the software requires a valid license.

4. Penalties for Non-Compliance
  • If the customer is found to be under-licensed, they must purchase the required additional licenses at the current pricing within 30 days of notification.
