| Question: | How to Backup Audit Trail Database ?

| Answer: | After Curtain e-locker 5.0.3273.48, it allow administrator to backup and export audit trail database with password protection.
Backup Audit Trail Database:
1. In Curtain Admin -> File -> Audit Trail
2. Select the Audit Trail Logs you want to backup -> Database -> Backup (e.g. Client Log)
3. Enter Password for security, then select the date range and save target location you need to back up, it allow clear record after backup.
Backup parameters:
- Time : Data Range include "Between this date","Before this date","After this date".
- Target : Save Location of backup database.
- Password : For security reason, it is used for view backup Audit Logs. Minimum 8 characters password length and must include letter, number and special character.
- Clear record after backup (Optional) : When backup successful, it will delete these activities logs record of this date range in the currently database.
4. Backup Success!
View the Backed up Audit Trail Database:
1. In Curtain Admin -> File -> Audit Trail
2. Select the Audit Trail Logs you want to view -> Database -> ... (e.g. Client Log)
3. Open dialog box will pop-up, select the location and file type -> Encrypt database file (*.encdb)
4. Click Yes to Continuous
5. Enter the Password and Click ok
6. Now you can searching this backed up audit trail database
7. Done
