Question: | If user's workstation is crashed, can data in Local Protected Directory be recovered? |
  | |
Answer: | If the hard-disk of Local Protected Directory is not damaged, user can use files in Local Protected Directory normally after rebooting the workstation. If Windows is reinstalled on the workstation, Local Protected Directory cannot be accessed after the reinstallation. Administrator can simply install Curtain Client and connect it to Curtain Admin. Then Local Protected Directory can be accessed again.
P.S. If hard-disk is formatted during reinstallation, data in Local Protected Directory will be also deleted. |
